01 Ancient ancestral hall and Meizi House
Huangpu is full of profound cultural heritage, and the traditional culture of begging for skill is well inherited, and the festive atmosphere is very strong.
There are more than 700 ancient relics of Huangpu, including many ancient ancestral halls. Every year on the Chinese Valentine’s Day, the ancient ancestral hall is always decorated by Qiaojie, and the ancient ancestral hall is suddenly full of energy.
The Qixi Festival tribute platform is also called “Fengqiniang”. According to the size of the scale, “Peng Qi Niang” is divided into two forms: “Peng Qi Niang” and “Peng Qi Niang”. “Shang Xiaoqiniang” is also known as “MeizaiwuBabaylan“, and is mostly held by a single family or a joint household in its own hall; “Shang Daqiniang” must be held in the ancestral hall, only once every few years. On the day of the festival, every household gathered together to prepare to beg for the clever tribute platform and put on their own works. We all prepared to beg for vegetarian food, present Qi Niang, worship Qi Niang, sing Cantonese opera, and compete with skill, and have a great time.
The author learned from Lao Qiaojie that in the past, under the altar of “My Zi’s House” and “Set Qi Niang”, there were usually pillows and mats. When Qiaojie was begging for fun until late at night, she rested and watched the night under the altar, and was having fun.
Komiks‘s quaint ancestral hall, decorated with the hearts of Qiaojie, is full of flowers, colorful, rejuvenated and displayed new charm! The Qiaojie also relies on their own good skills to make the custom of begging for the Chinese Valentine’s Day into a clever showShow.
